Traversal Dwellings
Gatherings where diverse systems of reference meet, dwell, and dialogue — spaces where Art and Science shoulder together the weight of orienting the human condition in the present and the unknown. Crossing disciplines, axioms, and worlds, these encounters seek to transcend contemporary boundaries and open toward expansive dialogue. A recalibration of perception and praxis — to be moved, vibrant and expansive, embodying the stardust we borrow and are destined to return.
In this session during the Venice Biennale, we focus on The Polishing of Tools in Physics and in Aesthetics, gathering Quantum Communication researchers with jewellers, scholars, and artists to dwell on the figure of the mirror — at once instrument, surface, and metaphor.
In the process of creating fine art today, is it possible, as in the case of the mirror, that artists
would enable new science? Can they relate to how physicists refine existing tools for the
purpose of scientific discovery or innovation? Do creativity and courage share a common
language in both art and physics?
